On January 30, 2018, on the eve of International Data Protection Day (January 28), the public organization All-Ukrainian Association "Information Security and Information Technologies," together with the NGO "IT-Alliance" and the company 7event.group, will bring together on one platform professionals in the field of personal data protection, international experts and representatives of relevant government institutions, leading business "players" in the field of information security, cloud technologies, electronic services, and providers to discuss the main issues of the International Forum: "Personal Data Protection in the Digital Economy." The International Forum will be held with the support of government bodies and interested parties.
The key personal data protection issues to be discussed at the forum should be:
- - novelties of European legislation (data processing, preventive measures and fines);
- - standardization, technical regulation and audit of enterprise activities for compliance with legislation in the field of personal data protection;
- - the state of legislation, organization of personal data protection in Ukraine (especially in the development of nationwide registries – patient registry, student registry, etc.);
- - information security of electronic identification systems and the provision of trust services and personal data protection;
- - cloud services and information storage;
- - participation of scientific and educational institutions in the systemic development of electronic services;
- - mechanisms of personal data protection in the law enforcement sphere;
- - public safety or privacy – must one necessarily choose, or can they be combined;
- - systems of data exchange between government bodies;
- - digitization of data, access to archival data for scientific and personal purposes;
- - other aspects of providing electronic services, their practical implementation.
